Birdsingers Mural

This mural depicts local Cahuilla Birdsingers, and is installed on the Idyllwild Arts Academy campus. I was granted funding for this mural project by the Artist Enterprise Laboratory, and while I was the project manager and designer, painting was a collaborative effort with teachers and students at Idyllwild Arts after listening sessions and direction from Cahuilla community members. I was awarded funding for this project by the Artist Enterprise Laboratory in 2017. Special thanks to Gerald Clarke, David Reid-Marr, Kyle Thompson, and the Cahuilla Bird Singer Community.
