My Story
I am originally from the small mountain community of Idyllwild, California, and my childhood in the forest is where my roots in art, science, and community began. I have always been an artist, and followed my curiosity about the natural world through many environmental art projects at Idyllwild Arts Academy, and ultimately into a self-designed degree in Science Communication at Tufts University. I am passionate about using art to foster wonder in our relationships with the environment, help people learn about and connect to the ecosystems in which they live, and facilitate a communal sense of place.
